The importance of high quality water in your coffee

A cup of filter coffee consists of 98 percent water. Water is not only the main ingredient of your coffee but it also acts as a solvent during the preparation. The soluble substances present in coffee beans must be dissolved in water to release all their organoleptic properties. This means that the quality of water has a significant role in the taste and the extraction of coffee.

Coffee brewing water should be clean and fresh by taste, smell and look. There should not be chlorine, chloramine and hypochlorite in the water. So filtration and softening is essential to get the most and best flavour out of your coffee beans.
